# Vora wallet

www\.vorachain.com

VORA Wallet is a secure digital wallet designed for the Vorachain ecosystem. It allows users to store, send, receive, and manage VORA tokens and other supported digital assets in one convenient application.

{% hint style="success" %}
VORA Wallet is built to support transparent blockchain activity. All completed transactions can be verified on the Vorachain blockchain explorer, allowing users to review transaction status, addresses, fees, and block confirmations.

### 👜What Is VORA Wallet?

The wallet serves as a personal gateway to Web3. With VORA Wallet, users can connect directly to decentralized applications, interact with smart contracts, swap supported tokens, participate in staking, and access services built on Vorachain. It is designed to make blockchain technology easier to use while giving users greater control over their own assets.

One of the main functions of VORA Wallet is asset management. Users can view their token balances, monitor transaction history, and receive assets by sharing their wallet address or QR code. They can also send tokens to other compatible wallet addresses by entering the recipient’s address, selecting the asset, and confirming the transaction.

VORA Wallet can also support interaction with decentralized applications through secure wallet connections. This enables users to access services such as VORA Swap, VORA Vault, VORA Bridge, VORA Marketplace, and other future applications in the Vorachain ecosystem. When users connect to a decentralized application, the wallet allows them to review and approve transactions before they are submitted to the blockchain.

Security is an important part of VORA Wallet. Users are responsible for protecting their wallet access, recovery phrase, private key, password, and connected devices. The recovery phrase should always be stored offline in a safe location and must never be shared with anyone. Anyone who has access to a recovery phrase or private key may be able to control the assets in that wallet.

The wallet may also provide network settings for connecting to Vorachain, including the official RPC endpoint, Chain ID, currency symbol, and explorer URL. This helps compatible applications and wallet users communicate with the correct blockchain network.

VORA Wallet is more than a place to hold tokens. It is an essential tool for participating in the Vorachain digital economy. Whether users are transferring VORA, trading tokens, staking assets, using decentralized applications, or exploring new Web3 services, VORA Wallet provides a simple and secure connection to the Vorachain ecosystem.

## 🔰Seamless, secure,self-custodial.

Store, send and swap VRA and every token on VORA Chain, on your phone or at your computer.

## ✅ Everything you need, in one wallet.

Built for VORA Chain. Send and receive, swap on VoraDEX, connect to dApps, and keys sealed on your own device, in the app on your phone and on your computer.

{% prompt description="Layer-2 Throughput" icon="globe" %}

```markdown
Transactions confirm in <2 seconds with ultra-low gas. Built for scale.
```

{% endprompt %}

{% prompt description="Security First" icon="lock" %}

```markdown
The recovery phrase is sealed with AES-256-GCM, opened by a six-digit PIN stretched with scrypt. A passkey can hold half the key.
```

{% endprompt %}

{% prompt description="Connect to dApps" icon="plug" %}

```markdown
Pair the app with any VORA Chain dApp over WalletConnect. Each request says what it asks for, and nothing is signed until you confirm it.
```

{% endprompt %}

{% prompt description="Self-Custodial" icon="folder-magnifying-glass" %}

```markdown
You own your keys, your crypto. True ownership, no intermediaries.
```

{% endprompt %}

{% prompt description="Passkey Protection" icon="shield-keyhole" %}

```markdown
Add a passkey and opening the wallet takes Face ID, Touch ID or Windows Hello as well as your PIN. On Apple devices it carries the wallet to your other devices too.
```

{% endprompt %}

{% prompt description="One Phrase, Two Screens" icon="box-circle-check" %}

```markdown
The same recovery phrase opens the same accounts in the app on your phone and in the desktop wallet on your computer.
```

{% endprompt %}

## 💻 Seamless swaps, smooth performance

Swap on your phone in the VORA Wallet app, or at your computer in the desktop wallet. Both trade on VoraDEX: VRA, WVRA and vUSDT, quoted before you confirm and settled in about two seconds, with the network fee paid in VRA.

### 🟫Sealed with your PIN, opened only by you

Your recovery phrase is made on your device and sealed there with AES-256-GCM, under a key stretched from your six-digit PIN by scrypt. Add a passkey and half of that key lives in your device's authenticator, so a copy of the storage alone opens nothing. The wallet locks itself when you step away, and the phrase stays hidden until you enter your PIN.

Multiple wallets

### 🔰Unlimited wallets, one recovery phrase

Add a new wallet in one tap, as many as you need. Each one comes from your 12-word recovery phrase, so those words bring every one of them back. Bring in a wallet from elsewhere with its private key, and reveal any wallet's key or the phrase behind your PIN.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://vorachain.gitbook.io/vorachain-docs/developer-guide/vora-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
