# Validator

www\.vorachain.com

A Vorachain Validator is a network participant responsible for validating transactions, producing blocks, and helping maintain the security and reliability of the Vorachain network.

Validators support decentralization by verifying on-chain activity and ensuring that transactions follow the network’s consensus rules. In return, eligible validators may receive staking rewards and transaction-fee incentives.

By operating a validator node, participants contribute directly to the stability, transparency, and long-term growth of the Vorachain ecosystem.

Deposit 1,000,000 VRA to take one of 100 validator seats and share in network transaction fees, plus 3% APY paid from the project treasury. Fees are distributed every 1 day.

### 💰Vorachain Validator Program

The Vorachain Validator Program is designed to support a secure, decentralized, and sustainable blockchain ecosystem. The network is operated by a maximum of 100 active validators, each playing an important role in validating transactions, producing blocks, maintaining network availability, and supporting the long-term growth of Vorachain.

Validators are essential to the operation of the blockchain. Every transaction submitted to Vorachainwhether it is a token transfer, decentralized exchange trade, staking action, NFT transaction, or smart-contract interaction must be verified according to the network’s consensus rules. Validators help ensure that these transactions are processed accurately, transparently, and securely.

In return for their contribution, active validators may receive a share of the transaction fees generated across the Vorachain ecosystem. When users trade tokens through supported decentralized trading services, such as VORA Swap and other connected applications, trading fees may be collected by the protocol. Under the applicable network rules, a portion of these fees can be allocated to validators as a reward for maintaining and securing the network.

The validator reward system is designed to create an ongoing economic model that connects network activity with community participation. As more users trade, transfer assets, use decentralized applications, and interact with smart contracts on Vorachain, the network may generate more transaction-fee activity. This model encourages validators to provide reliable infrastructure, maintain high uptime, and support a positive experience for all users of the ecosystem.

There will be up to 100 validator positions available on Vorachain. This limited validator structure is intended to balance network efficiency, security, and decentralization. Each validator is expected to operate responsibly, maintain technical performance, and follow the network’s governance and operational requirements.

Validator rewards are calculated and distributed based on the network’s rules, validator status, performance, staking requirements, and fee-sharing mechanism. A validator may need to meet specific conditions to remain eligible, including maintaining node uptime, operating approved validator infrastructure, complying with protocol rules, and holding or staking the required amount of VORA tokens when applicable.

The distribution of trading-fee rewards is not a fixed or guaranteed daily income. Rewards may vary depending on actual trading volume, transaction activity, protocol parameters, validator performance, the number of active validators, and decisions approved through Vorachain governance. Participants should understand that blockchain participation involves technical, market, and operational risks.

By becoming a validator, participants can contribute directly to the future of Vorachain. They help protect the network, validate decentralized activity, support blockchain adoption, and participate in a transparent fee-based ecosystem. As Vorachain continues to expand, validators will remain a core part of the network’s security, reliability, and community-driven development.

| Deposit exactly 1,000,000 VRA to take a validator seat. One wallet holds one seat, and any other amount is rejected by the contract. | A fixed 3% per year, accrued over the time you hold the seat and paid from a treasury the project funds separately. It never comes from another validator’s deposit. | Half of all network transaction fees go to the project, half is shared equally across every active seat. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://vorachain.gitbook.io/vorachain-docs/getting-started/validator.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
